Good on him.  That's what this hobby/pastime/sport /drug,  is all about.  Getting out there and just lovin' it.

I just got back from my little jaunt, 2694km over 5 days and I'm feeling it. Wonder how young Gus' statistics are looking.

That was the outcome of a poorly conceived idea, I wanted to be in Corryong earlier for lunch.

Did not save time as hoped due to the low speeds required, a guy that I passed earlier on a BMW cruised through town just as I was having my sandwich and Coke.

Much more fatigued due to the extra concentration, front wheel slid once. Once you pass a sign that says Toowong Shire they switched to large jagged rocks instead of the previous small marbles. They had a special on large corrugations too.

I did save some petrol, one tank from Omeo to Cooma via Jindabyne around 340km from memory.
