Ride South - 27/06/10

Hey guys. My mates at NSWR and i are going for a ride south on sunday.

DATE: 27/06/10
MEET: 0830 for a 0900 leave from heathcote maccas.
ROUTE: not sure of the exact route, but basically through the nasho, kangaroo vally, stopping in at robinson pie shop and home again.

Did the same ride a couple of weeks ago...very enjoyable.

All are welcome. Lets hope for some good weather.

im going if it doesnt rain - not sure i can go the whole way but will see

more than likely I'll be there .. haven't ridden for the whole week .. the withdrawals are severe

Stopped off at Robbo Pie Shop at around 11.15am on sunday, seen a few bandits there and was wandering if it you fellas.

Yeah a good day .. certainly good weather, just a little cold by the end of the day and even midday up at the pieshop.
went through Nasho, up Macquarie pass to Robertson Pie Shop and that would have been around 11ish I think, there were two Bandits in the group, mine and Potatomashers (both blue), then down to Kangaroo Valley, through to Coolangatta, Kiama essess, up Jamberoo to the the Pieshop (1.20pm), then back up hwy to Helensburgh, then Bald Hill and back up through Nasho. total km unknown, I'm slack taking statistics.

I was buggered ... but enjoyed myself. Trevor (NSWR) looked after us well.

There was one Bandit at the pie shop that had a few mods like blue engine studs, fender eliminator and dark tinted screen, very nice. Was it yours or Potatomashers ?
I live in Wollongong so do the Kangaroo valley loop regularly, nice pies at K V opposite the pub.
Will have to keep a eye on the up coming rides page for the next ride south.

Can't say that bike was either of ours, if PM had blue engine studs I'm sure I would have noticed.
I'm not that keen on the food at Robertson Pieshop .. you only have to see what becomes of the paper bags they put the sausage rolls in .. surely that can't be legal to sell for consumption.

Anyway, I'm often down that way .. great roads .. and Mac Pass needs to be a motorcycle only road

i thought the pie i had there was crap. i saw a black bandit with a black engine which looked nifty around 11ish
