... and just a quick note to say that after sitting in the shed for two months without rego (as I was riding my other recently rebuilt bike) I finally succumbed to the call of the bandit and put rego on it today.
Suffice to say that I LOVE THIS BIKE.
It's so damn quick and it looks great. Just took it for a suburban shopping spin today, so mebbe only 20km. So much fun dodging traffic and blasting away from the lights, without even trying. And to think I was possibly maybe thinking of selling it cos who needs two bikes anyway. Silly boy.
Planning to put another 1000km on it for a christmas day-on ride.... Blast the cobwebs outa it
As an aside, I am now looking for hard panniers for it. Suggestions?
Thanks.

As for the panniers.......Givi V35 A good size 34lt each not too big. and styled to suit the bike
here's a shot of mine, only got them 2 weeks ago.
these are V35NT which gives you the white lenses on the panniers

I agree the Bandit is sensational in traffic.
