Canberra is KEN cold

Nothing else really, just wanted to say Canberra is a LOT colder than Perth.

It's even colder if you are riding. People might think that heated grips are for sissy's but do a couple of Canberra winters...

I'm driving a toyota camery between the apartment and work for the week and it's cold in that.
at least if i was on the bike i would be smiling

Ah, the good old days.
I grew up there and really enjoyed the commute from Belconnen to Queanbeyan every day.
Scraping the ice off as the fog froze on my visor whilst riding past the airport every morning...

I lived in Queanbeyan over a winter about 15 years ago and rode an old XL 600 to work in Fyshwick. My bike lived outside so most mornings I had to scrape the ice off the seat before getting on. No heated grips back then!! God was it cold.
