Wanted: Factory 1250 Headers Empty Wanted: Factory 1250 Headers

Hi All,

I'm in the process of tidying up my Bandit, and I'm after a decent set of original headers that someone might have laying around after upgrading. Mine have a dent in them and are in pretty poor condition.

I'm also looking for a set of straight forks and radiator, although I can probably get these repaired for less than the cost of replacing them.

I was originally planning to upgrade to Arrows + PC + Front Suspension mods but I can't justify the cost at the moment. With rego/CTP costing me about $1,300 a year (no comp cover), I'm actually tempted to sell it and go to something with a smaller capacity (like a DRZ400SM), where rego + full comp is more like $750.

Let me know what you've got and how much you want for it.

P.S If anyone wants to make an offer on my bike as is, it has 45,000kms. Not saying I'll sell it, but could be tempted.

Who is your CTP with???

My CTP came in today, $511. I am guessing rego will about $300, but need to wait for that.

Doesn't really make a difference, prices are all within $20 of each other. NSW Greenslips are expensive to start with for a 1250cc bike and I'm only 24, so it alone is $990. And it increases every year as the bike gets older.

Thanks for the offer Gus, but probably need a set local from NSW to make it worthwhile.

I bought the bike new. The bent radiator and dented header are from my big crash in 2010 (?), everything else was repaired or replaced with new parts.

The forks have a minute bend in them from a stupid mistake where I ran into the back of a car on the way to work. Was very low speed and I've ridden around with them like that for about 2 years but I wouldn't sell it to someone like that.

If it goes up for sale it will most likely be the cheapest 1250 on the market.
