Hi guys. sorry i haven't been around for a while. my eldest son was seriously ill. Thank god he's now okay. He was transplanted with a new liver at 7am Sunday morning. He's surprised everyone and was up and around on day 2 after the op.

Me neither, though mine might be well preserved, pickled as such.

All the best to your son Kaupy

Hope he fairs well for the future Kaupy, good thing about being young they can really know how to put up a good fight.

Personally I think it should be mandatory that you are an organ donor, and that you need to Opt-out if you have objections, so many lives are lost because a little box on your licence doesn't get ticked.

We were both on the donor list and was talking to the Medicare girl the other day and the subject got round to donating your body to the universities, I didn't realise (though it makes perfect sense) you can't be on both lists.

Thanks for all good wishes guys. He's doing real well. A couple of hiccups but that's expected. So far the docs have been pleased with his progress.

Mine are up for grabs when the time comes too, have been for years. I have also suggested my wife & son have that little box on their licences ticked.
Oh, my liver will be like new for years to come! With all the pickling I've been giving it over the years Very Happy
