Cann River Run
What a awesome day, Russeled up some good mates, Terry on his Bandit, Shawn on his Multi, Ewok on his bandit and myself on me new GSX1250FA ( no its not a Bandit ), Met up in Pambula then off to Wyndham to pick up Ewok, the Darragh was in good nick and the Bandit... oops GSX was making me really smile, good corner speed and handling all the bumps, but it was still pushing a bit, one more stop on rear shock should sort that, shawn tells me.
Coffee time in Bombala, then a visor clean at the servo, yup its spring, bugs every where, Shawn says give us a spin on the GSX, so i cautiously throw the leg over the Multi, now how do i start this thing, after the ride from bombala to cann river on a multistrata i can see what 30k gets you, Tingly wrists. but what a bike.
Terry suggest that we get a good feed at the cheap and cheerful,
this is our table, sign on the door says best hamburgers in East Gippsland, well Ewok didnt eat all of his.
What sort of weapon is this, a ducati Panigale, MV augusta F3, Kewwigs Red Bandit, nope
its the trusty CT110 or by its common name the postie bike, very dangerous bikes these, you can tell its a fast bike by the peformance model givi topbox designed to be aerodynamic at high speeds
here is me thinking that i might have bought the wrong bike
lunched up, fueled up, back up the cann valley highway, the GSX was very nice, planted in fact until i hit a tar mound in the middle of the road ( hidden in the shadows ) some death wobbles and a pile in my pants proved that the bike wasnt quite as planted as i would have liked but still it was making me smile. a right turn down the Imlay road what a great riding road this would be if the log trucks would bugger off, very rough but still quite planted plus we picked up some guy up on a gold busa as well.
then a quiet run up the Princes Hwy to Eden ( double Demerits ) and then the backway home, via nethercote, just beating the weather. a good ride with good company
