Headlight Woes
So I have noticed an annoying buzzing from the front end this week.
I couldn't put my finger on it, and thought it maybe like the cb400 issue in the instrument cluster.
Changing oil today I passed the front of the bike and this caught my attention.
The focusing unit has somehow dropped off.
Does anyone know how to split these headlights to get in, or are they a fully sealed unit.

I haven't pulled one of these apart but generally speaking most headlights the glass is glued to the plastic back. You might be able to over come the glue and open it up that way

have a GOOD look around this site..Hidplanet
EDIT...disregard that post I put up!!!wrong one, but if you go through that site, you will find what your after.
The problem you will find is the exact method for YOUR light.
With the gen 2 lights, you just stick them in the oven on 70* for 10mins, and they just come apart, very easy..I've done it heaps of times experimenting with the beam partern..but that's for my light ,not yours. It may be the same, may be not.

I have the same problem. Is there a way in or should I take it back to the dealer to fix?

A replacement headlight unit is $800+.
You can 'split' the unit by removing it from the bike and putting it in the oven at a low temp - I saw a thread here about it a while ago when my 02 bandit had the same issue. https://nswbandits.forumotion.net/t1803-headlight-assembly - it was my thread
I ended up getting a second hand unit from a wreckers in Sydney, cost me $300 delivered.
