GoPro Tests ( for those would be youtube cinematographers )

Well i have had a couple runs on the bike with both GoPro at different resolutions, so here is some footage taken at 720p 100fps on the Black and 720p 50fps on the silver.

My take on using the faster frames is uselss unless you have a crash and want to slomo it, bumps cause the camera to go out of focus especially on the black. The Bega Vally Rally is on in June so i am definatley doing slow stuff there but will be off a tripod for sure, this is where the high frame rate will work very nicely.

Both GoPro's Colour balance is very good as you can see both clips are straight of the camera with no post

Hi Reardo, Post means post production, these clips are straight of the camera, when i imported them into Final Cut X (my editing suite) i did not adjust the clips in any way hence no post

Here is a colour update, i turned on protune mode and then turned the white balance to Raw, in this mode the camera shoots the footage as it sees it and does not try and balance the colour the same this when you shoot raw photo's on a DLSR. In this mode i have a heap more control over the White balance and can adjust in post production. Here are two clips that i shot and adjusted the white balance, exposure and saturation, i have to say that the footage is the best that i have ever shot with a action camera
