Licola Vic
Well Ewok has finally scheduled a ride in fine weather
Today was a beauty and three of us rode to Licola on a Duc ST3, Bandit and a FZ1.
Shane had to do a quick return trip so after a bit of smoke Ewok and I toured back stopping for some photos before ending up at a cafe in Traralgon for lunch.
Thanks for the invitation Dave and congrats on arranging such awesome weather
Here are some pix.

No problems Chris - I really enjoyed it. I'll not be able to review my pics until tomorrow or even Monday night but I hope they are as clear as yours. Hope the video comes out so everyone can see what a blinder this road is.

The video will come in time. I've had a quick look at some raw video and im pleased to say I had the lens rotated the correct way

A bridge over the McAlister River
The area was burnt out by bushfires in February.
2WA taking the "long way home"
The scenery is beuatifully distracting

Thanks John.

2WA, You cut it fine to do your 1st "ride" for the season at end of April.
You've been a bit busy obviously, but looks like it was worth the wait.

Well there isn't any reason we can't advertise the next time Ewok comes down.
Its easy to meet in Traralgon and do a lap or two then head to a pub/cafe for lunch before riding home with a smile on our faces.
Traralgon is an easy ride for anyone in or near Melbourne.

YES YES YES YES
Except for when I'm videoing Ewok then I have to ride slow.....er But that was a pretty good pace for the Bandit.
The FZ1 stops, points and shoots far better. 3rd gear is usefull from 40kmh to 160+kmh so in the tight stuff you just hold it in 3rd and let the 20 valves and EXUP do their thing and sing their song
I need another camera facing backwards. And one on my helmet. And one on the bars

When JC gets back from Hong Kong I expect he'll have a bag full of new cameras - you might be able to negotiate a sale of the current (soon to be obsolete) ones at a good price.

Re: Licola Vic
Sorry guys i sold my drift to buy the gopro black and i love the contour roam so much i could not part with it, and the gopro, contour and drift have a very small presence in HK as it was hard to find any thing that was cheaper than home and patong was dearer , but i did find a gopro guy with good prices. So i bought a silver and some accessories, i think action cameras in hk are not popular as i'll show some footage i took that every one either owns a luxury european car or use public transport, i did ask the pilot of the Air Asia Airbus if i could clamp it the nose but he wasnt keen,
Now mr ewok planning has started for the top gear style trx shoot, 3 cameras on the bike. 1 chase and 1 lead plus two fixed cameras, and all we need is a quiet stretch of road with little home owners and traffic
Am currently in KL on a stop over till our flight to aus leaves 2:00am aus time 12:00 pm kl time tonight back in aus at 9:00 am then a virgin flight to canberra, then pick the car up and home

Count me in and I'm happy to mount my camera somewhere.
Seeing as you have the same initials you must be Jeremy Clarkson
