Long Weekend riding

Well ANZAC Day is almost upon us and after watch the Diggers in the marches tomorrow I'm getting my 1000km service done on Friday, just the check over and change oil etc.

After that i'm hitting the road to start putting some k's on my little baby. Also, will begin to put a few goodies on her in terms of exhaust, screen, underseat unit etc. I can't wait.

The first 1000km's have been fantastic and the Bandit just loves the road on the Southern Highlands, Macquarie Pass and the Royal National Park.

Hope the weather is good for you all and you have some good rides over the next few days.

2WA and I are meeting up for a ride to Licola (Victoria) and back to a Gippsland pub for lunch - will post a few pics next week.
PS: Minus 1 in Canberra this morning for the commute - brrrrrr.

Long weekends are good. Only bad thing about them is it brings all types out onto the roads and in bigger numbers

Me and a mate will be doing Mt Stuart, then west to Woodstock - Guru turn off then a nice coffee and cake in Ayr. Might even put up some photos too.

All with a new Bridgestone Battleaxe on the rear

While I don't miss much about Sale, every time I read someone is doing that ride I get jealous. Watch out for those pesky 4x4's that sometimes think both lanes are theirs.

My plans are:

ANZAC Day - Dawn Service, join my RAAFie mates and march, lunch, then a short careful ride (double demerit points)
Friday - Maybe another short ride careful ride.
Saturday/Sunday - I have no idea.
