I'm new eh
Hi all from the great white north. There seems to be a lack of forums based in Canada. I have learned a lot from this forum and would like to contribute something back.
Look forward to the future....lol
Cheers

Hiya CP...
Happy to have you along for the ride. So where in Canada do you hail from??
I'm heading over there in a couple of weeks for a good long stint of skiing at Big white (BC near Kelowna).. go there most years and have just become the proud owner of a small condo. in the village.. Hearing from friends over there and also the daily weather reports I receive that they are having one of the best beginnings of a snow season for many years..
Very much looking forward to getting over there and to the cold - here currently we are in the midst of a 'heat wave' with many areas of Ausland suffering temps. well into the 40 deg c. mark..

Re: I'm new eh
Thank you all for the warm welcome. I live in Calgary Alberta, and we are having one of our "chinooks". A "chinook" is a unique weather pattern that warms us up and blows over anything that the wind can catch. The "chinook" can take the temp from -25 to +10 in a matter of hours. I have not been able to ride "Ethel" since the end of October. The bike is named "Ethel" due to my friends describing me as a silent streak when blasting past them on rides (the is a comedic song called "the streak").
My 2012 is pearl white with metallic flaking. I have removed the rear fender and added a compwerks eliminator (never again ), installed a intregrated tail light, flush mounted front signals, mirror extenders, delkevic down pipes with a 8" mini stainless, and went from a 18T to a 17T.
Future plans are to do dales stage two.

Small world Classypete. I was in the Aust Army many moons ago and we did a 3 month stint with a Canadian Forces Infantry mob (3PPCLI) out of Victoria on Vancover Island. We actually flew into Calgary (actually Banff) in a "Chinook" helicopter to do some white water rafting down the Kootenay River. Thems was fun times before they started sending us off to the two-way rifle ranges.

Thanks again for the welcomes....
The pics don't do the paint job justice, in the sun it just lights up.
A two way range could get interesting...lol. I'm glad you could come over and enjoy our parks.
