I can't wait....
The "S" that took for test ride was a dream.
It is a huge step up from the CB400 that I have been riding for the past 4 years
I kept thinking that the CB400 had enough power for me
I am still grinning from the test ride

Welcome aboard Tsim - back in the late '70s I pined for an original 400 four. Much better than my old 350F.

Rode from Penrith to the Central Coast.
OMG, what a difference from the CB400 I was riding.........
I am in love.(and that was without even taking her over 4,000 RPM )

Re: Newbie to the Block
8,000 kms down, and I still feel like a noob...
I must say this bike is Freaking Awesome......
I love the power delivery in any gear. If i am under geared, the torque is still there to pull you out of trouble (if you get into it).
Why did I wait so long to get this beast

Just give it another 8000ks and she'll feel under-powered and under-torqued! You'll be doing mods to unleash her potential. Good bike in stock trim, but quite asthmatic breathing. Suzuki saved a lot of money by making a one-size-fits-all-markets bike. Fortunately it's pretty easy to make decent power for very little money. Enjoy the ride and keep the rubber side down.
