Sydney Wauhope Armidale Grafton
Went for a ride on thursday to Wauhope and o'nighted there and in the morning took the Oxley Hwy to Walcha and then it started to rain .. a slow moving heavy rain, which continued all the way to Grafton via Nymboida. not as much fun as it could have been
Anyway I went to Grafton to photo the jacarandahs and I think I missed the best of them by two weeks.
a Grafton street
the Motorcycle museum at Nabiac on my way home, worth a visit.
first time I've seen one of these
I used to own one of these

Nice work Baz, shame you copped a bit of crappy weather - maybe you should have cranked the heat up on the heated seat and grips to scare it off!

Looks a bit like the Gwyder hwy in Grafton where you took those pics, I was sitting there on Thursday morn in my truck waiting for someone looking at a view very similar.
The RE5 is a great piece of engineering, shame it was too heavy & also a pig on fuel! I saw one at Southwards museum in N.Z about 20 years ago.
Did you head back home via the hwy?

I did Steve and I cannot believe the amount of work being done up there ... if anyone wonders why the roads are so crappy in NSW it because we have run out of money .. head up north of Coff's Harbour and see the gazillion dollars being spent up there.Kiwisteve wrote:
