G'day guys, just found your site. I have just bought an economical repairabel writeoff (silly Bugger) and its nearly complete. Anyone got any ideas how hard it is to get through VIV inspection etc would be a great help.
Its all finished, got an album with all the accounts, photos of repairs etc. Used ebay obviously for most parts, and got the original workshop manual and microfiche like vicrats want.
Anything I have forgotten?

Thanks guys, I just heard all the horror stories about going into vicroads.
I have heaps of bits left over from my efforts, so if anyone wants, I have bottom right leg of fork, internals and spring etc, bits of indicators, frame for fairing for a 1200s bandit. two front guards, one for a 1200 and one for a 1250 I believe, all going free to a good home. Heaps of allen bolts etc.
Took it for a "test Drive" and I happen to confront the only traffic policeman in the west with his radar gun, Lucky for me he hit the young lad next to me trying to drag me. Sadly I took off down a side road (gravel) now I have a slipping clutch, that should teach me!
But if I can find out how to lob photos here I will put one up, its starting to look like a bike from the wreck I bought, and it goes soooo well..
Cheers
