Expressions of Interest: Ride to Broke and Putty Rd 4th November
First topic message reminder :
This ride now locked in for 4th November, I will ride to Wollombi and meet any Central Coast riders then continue on to Broke and Grey Gum Cafe. We need a show of hands so we can work out meeting times to help Sydney riders who have a choice of a Putty out and back or a full loop. Please let me know your preferred option and we will try and accommodate as many as possible.
Warning: Central Coast riders may be disoriented by the lack of roundabouts.
I have decided to unhijack Ross' thread and post here.
Firstly, I see a lot of Bandits around Newcastle, but I always seem to be working and they always seem to be doing something serious like commuting. I wish I could tag a few so we could organise some Novocentric rides ( I just made that word up, impressive ehh?).
Mr Hoffo liked my idea of a Rylstone Ride, not that we could ride together from our polar opposite staring points, maybe that's the attraction.
Rylstone is 269km one way for me, I've done a lunch run there before but if others want to meet up, it could end up being quite a long ride eg a detour through Wollombi makes it 300km one way.
Another option is lunch at Grey Gums Cafe on the Putty Road, if there are enough Newcastle and Central Coast riders, we could converge at Wollombi, then lunch at Grey Gums, which takes in the twisties between Wollombi and Broke as well as The Putty's Greatest Hits. The Coasties get the added bonus of Kullnura to Wollombi. I get a more manageable 183km one way and any Sydney riders can complete the loop (or get defected on the OPH ).
So who's keen and what do you think.

Home.
Hey Baz those fuckwits that cut you off on the F3 thought it was really funny till I zoomed up beside them and went to take off the side mirror. They backed right off.
Photos a bit later will be posted in a separate thread.
