Re: Rear seat cowl
interesting! I had seen one online, but what I'd be keen to find out is whether there is any (usable) space at all.

Re: Rear seat cowl
I have also been hunting a genuine Bandit single seat conversion - finally sourced one from Midwest Action Cycles. http://www.midwestactioncycle.com/eshopitems_cat_5362-4167-17487-41404_limit_n.more.htm
It was very reasonably priced and arrived by mail in 12 days from ordering. Perfect fit and colour. I am so impressed that I have now ordered the lower fairing, tank cover and 3-piece hard pannier kit from the same company. Even those parts I can get here, I can get from USA cheaper!
Recommend this company to anyone looking for hard-to-get Bandit bits.
Also fitted a Pro-Oiler 12 months ago and have not needed to adjust the chain in 10,000km!
Watch this space for pix.

Re: Rear seat cowl
re the above site - there is a pretty nifty hugger there i am rather tempted to buy
Re: Rear seat cowl
Midwest Action Cycles has been very good to deal with; wish I could find a Suzuki dealer in Oz that was nearly as professional.
Their price was substantially lower than the list price. The seat is great, saves 50% on registration too.

Re: Rear seat cowl
What did you have to do at the RTA to get 50% off or was it CTP the you saved on.Al Fentanyl wrote:The seat is great, saves 50% on registration too.
Usually the RTA make people give up there first born & pull teeth at the same time if they want a $1 off
Re: Rear seat cowl
Can't find a decent pic of the rear hugger, but have seen one and will be adding it to my shopping list. MAC have them for $195US; $35US less than list price.
Dunno bout other states - but Reardo
In Qld, you need to get a compliance plate fitted by an approved shop (list available from Main Roads) changing the seating capacity from 2 to 1. Then fill in some forms and its all good.
Cameron, will post another pic first chance I get.
