Bad luck mate.
Thats the fourth Bandit that I know of in 2 weeks for sale.
I know of an as new black 07 S with 20k on it with extras and he's asking 6 (Vic).
The price is somewhere between how desperate you are to sell and how keen a buyer is.
Good luck with the sale.

Quizguy, Sorry for the loss of income and all the bills that inevitably follow. Hopefully things will turn around for you sooner rather than later.
Looks like a nice bike with a lot of extras. Price seems fairish to me as a starting point, but I am biased.
On a lighter note I am not planning on selling my "Baby Bandit" just yet so that means there wil lbe at least 3 of us on Bandits.

Is selling it the way to go ?? .Lets face it it new but depreiation is going to be big .In fact you could keep it for another 12 months and it will still
be worth the same even with more kls .The price you get for the bandit isnt going to pay a HUGE bill .Can you live happily with NO bike , can your partner live with you with no bike ? Owning a Bandit is hardly extravigant by any standards ,how about a smaller car ?

Hard luck that you have to sell... On the good side, once you come out of the financial hole that you must be in you should be able to pick another good Bandit up for around the $6000 mark..

Yes our bikes are worth a lot when we're selling aren't they.

Seems to me I might get a better response by stripping it back to standard and selling the bits off.. and drop the price.

I see you have one bid on it now.
It might be time to lean on the bidder and see what he's willing to pay or try to work out some sort of deal

Re: 2010 GSF1250S ABS 3,500klm - Parting with my baby
Don't do it . I sort of went through a similar scenario a while ago , & as Gus says it's not really going to pay off all that much it'll & be hard to get back later & we all know that having a bike is more than just having a bike. You'll sell it & in a few months find it hasn't really made a whole lot of difference, just that you haven't got a bike. Sometimes we have to allow ourselves something that may not seem strictly logical on the surface but there's more to it than that. I don't know your situation but it's surprising how the bank (mortgage), the ATO ,etc will help out when you (or your accountant if you have one) talk to them. We had tax bills deferred without interest & mortgage payments frozen etc just by talking to the right people & I've still got a Bandit & the hole I thought I'd never get out of is a lot less deep now. Some shit's more important than other shit. Don't do it.
