Gday guys, and girls if any.
was given a business card with this groups address on it today by a 'lollie pop' man on the side of the road when i was out for a ride today. I am the proud owner of a 2010 GSX1250FA. Have had no problems with it to date and it goes like a dream. Have already done a 2200k ride from sunshine coast up-to Mackay and back and the only complaint i had was the seat, but it seems broken in now!! Am in the process of looking for some new pipes either slip on or full system as i want it to make MORE noise so people can hear me coming. Any one have any suggestions????

G'day Mikey, I'll hazzard a guess that it was Gus that gave you a card if it was around the Sunny Coast. I have the old air cooled Bandit, & just recently put a Delkevic pipe on it, definatly more noise Also unleashed a few more ponies .
Welcome aboard

Hi Mikey108 and welcome aboard. Watch out for that " Lollipop Man ". he usually hands out candy. Enjoy. Oh , and exhaust systems, are endless. Where to start ? Will add my 2 cents worth. I have a Staintune. Love it ( without the baffle ). Fully stainless. Fully welded. Aussie made.

Welcome aboard - type 'exhaust' into the search engine and you should have hours of fun reading endless opinions. Mine is a Yoshi R77 carbon (I like the black can with the black 2010+ engine). I'd say all of the after-market cans give you more 'presence' in traffic and that is a good thing if used wisely. But there are lots of manufacturers, materials and prices so it can just come down to how much you want to spend.

Welome mikey, sounds like a good trip, apart from all those road works south of Miriamvale. Probably doing a trip down next month that way myself

Welcome.
A few of us are running Beowulf mufflers and at half the price of a Yoshi I'm rapt in mine after about 20,000km. Others here are happy with their stockers but that's like kissing your sister

Is that wrong? No tongue! Really........
Careful Mikey, there are claims on this very forum that when you get an aftermarket pipe, your penis gets bigger!

Welcome to the forum.
Arrow full system is the go. I think I have twisted a few people's arms on here. I know @reardo is one of them. They sound great and the workmanship is outstanding compared to yoshimura

Welcome Mikey,
Don't worry about SB1250, he's in denial. He really does want an a/m muffler....
I fitted a Beowulf to my 1250FA and am real happy with it. I put a link to a 'before and after' vid somewhere on this forum which should come up in a search.
Any muffler other than stock will add positive character to the bike.
Bill

Good to see you being nice to the locals Gus, the pills must be working
Welcome Mike, for what it's worth I'm pretty stoked with my Carbon Fibre R77. Next time you past those road works ask the lolly-pop man for a catalog of his CF bits.

Welcome to the forum mate.
Go the full system. They sound sweet. Even the Harley boy like the sound of my bike. Arrow Headers with Yoshi TRS.
I do like the note of the Beowulf on Big Al's bike too. Don't tell 2W I said that

You must be on strong pain killers mate
I think the Beowulf on the Bandit sounds better than the Remus GP on the FZ1. But the FZ1 over 10,000rpm is awesome. Like a Pratt & Whitney turbine.
