For Sale K6 Bandit 1200 parts
For Sale...
2006 Bandit 1200 Mikuni carburettor bank. Removed in full working order. No leaks. Standard jetting. Incl TPS.
Asking $150 + freight to anywhere in OZ.
2006 Bandit 1200 bare engine (no carbs, alt, starter or side covers). No broken fins, external finish on engine is nearly unmarked. Has a suspected noisy big end bearing on no.1 when hot. 45,000km old. I'm never going to get around to stripping this engine down so someonce who wants a big bore donor engine - here's your chance. Good low K engines are about $2,300.
Asking $500.
PM me if you are interested.
Cheers[b]

You would think eBay would work.
Surely someone is building a dune buggy/cart for fun.

Ironman... Why not keep the motor, sounds like a good project to fix up and turbocharge. One of the guys in Perth did it to an old GSXR 1100 and apparently it'd light up the rear at 110 in top gear just rolling on the throttle

Nup, engine has to go. Could be good if all it turns out needing is a big end bearing on no.1.
If not, it's a huge cache of spares.

Nothing. I was downsizing from 3 bikes to 1. I still ride and have my 9000km old K6 as my only machine.
Whoever gets my old one has a well sorted engine/carb package. It went like the clappers. I know this because my current bike is stock standard even down to the pipe. It has nowhere near the in-gear acceleration the old one has.
I spent thousands on bikes and mods and accessories and have learnt a valuable lesson. Don't let your heart run your wallet by itself.
I can only ride 1 bike at a time so really only need 1. Looking at the line up of current Suzuki bikes - nothing really did it for me except maybe a V Strom thou. My tastes are changing obviously. Next bike will not automatically be a Suzuki either. I actually don't mind the Yamaha XJR1300. Something about air cooled engines...
