Yoshi RS or TRS or R77? Empty Yoshi RS or TRS or R77?

Post  step_andy Tue 02 Mar 2010, 5:29 pm

Folks,
I have finally committed to a purchase of a new slip on and have narrowed down to Yoshi as a brand.

Now the hard choice ...
RS or TRS or R77?

RS - USD 269
TRS - USD 284
R77 - USD 335
All in stainless steel

Shipping to AUS 75 USD

What is the difference between RS, TRS and R77 pipes besides the looks?

PS, was looking at Beowulf, but they declined to sell VAT free to international customers.

Thanks
Andy

AFAIK the difference is in construction (outside looks) and i guess weight due to construction differences (more/less metal etc)
apart form that I'm pretty sure they are basically the same inside.
Didn't select on your poll yet as I need to have a look a the yoshie site to see which one is witch and which one i like witch will decide which one i pick

personally like the RS3 better than the rest as i think it suits the bike better.
it has a more mechanical look to it which IMO suits the naked/half faired bandit
that's me tho

I got the R77 ( stainless with carbon tip only). The pick of the 3 IMHO.

I went R77 full carbon fibre, & really glad I did. It suits the colour of the bike, & sounds good (now, after the pcv & dyno run etc).

The missis got me my TRS carbon for my 30th (good girl), looks and sounds great.
The R77 looks the best tho, If TRC-D was available for bandits, I think would sound awsome

Fitted my RS3 today only had to wait 1 week to get from the USA through Mladins. Fitted up nice and easy only hassle was fitted the round can bracket to an oval can, still only took 30 mins from go to whoa. My Radiator Guard turned up late this arvo so wont get until Tuesday. Sounds sweet even with the restrictor in.

Got it from Morepowerracing
link

They did price beat one advertised on ebay. USD 402 shipped to QLD. They didn't have it in stock, had to wait 4 days for them to get it and ship. All up, 2 weeks from order to delivery.
Cheers
