New TAC advert
Another pile of wasted money..............
http://www.bikepoint.com.au/news/2012/new-tac-motorcycle-advertisement-29941
Would be better spent on driver/rider education perhaps?

Re: New TAC advert
So apparently it was the biker's fault for doing 8k over the limit:!: because that extra bit makes you less visible Never mind the car pulling out of a stop sign and not having a good look around the parked cars.

Re: New TAC advert
What a joke. How about running 15 second adverts of the ACTUAL road laws, played out in various scenarios? Seems to me that a lot of road users haven’t learned, or forget (or even .....ignore!) the basic road laws. What happened to common courtesy? A lot of these TAC advert “crashes” would’ve been prevented if driver/rider education was taught from day one. Obtaining a licence is way too easy, and penalties for breaking the law are way too light. Having worked in other countries and seen what the teenagers have to do to “earn” their drivers licence, makes the Oz system a friggin joke.
Just my 2c’s worth.

Re: New TAC advert
the problem is they can twist any situation to suit themselves & most people won`t question it

TAC are "Fn" Wankers. For some reason it's always the bikers fault. What they need to be spending more time on is the friggin' cage heads that constantly speed through 40 k zones at children crossings. Every day I see at least 3 doing 60-70k through these zones. One idiot was tearing through at closer to 90ks

Re: New TAC advert
I'm sorry, but that is a heap of steaming shit! In reality, he's probably doing 62 or 61 if the R1 speedo is out as much as the bandits. I'd reckon the front brakes on a R1 would pull up a whole lot quicker than the ad said it did. So they 'kill' a rider but let the driver pull out in front of a bike without a worry. Get fucked
