She's blaming Grover, Ewok, Baz and Bruiser!
First topic message reminder :
Went for a short splurt yesterday to Oberon via Hampton for a late breakfast, then returned via the road to Bathurst; turned off at O'Connell for Tarana and past Lake Lyall to return to the Blue Mts....
As I was enjoying myself with my GF on the back and cruising (a might fast I'll admit ) between Oberon and O'Connell I felt a bit of a dig in the ribs, I slowed down to a little more reasonable speed and continued on my merry way getting low (for me anyway) on some of the corners, accelerating quickly out of them etc etc all the way back home...
When I asked if she enjoyed the ride she promptly told me that after being away with the boys (I've been away a few times now over the past month or so the last time being last weekend to Bermagui with Baz, Grover, Ewok and Bruiser) that I'm riding much faster and that she felt that she wanted to get off... (I suggested mildly that getting off when she pumped me in the ribs may not have been the best option) - Oh well... as long as one of us had a good time! - so should I feel bad??

Re: She's blaming Grover, Ewok, Baz and Bruiser!
Sorry fellas, been flat out at work for the last two weeks. I must admit I have been blamed for worse by the partners of friends. At least you didn't require hospitalisation or bail Bhoffo! It could have been far worse. There were no strippers despite my earlier suggestion, although I don't know what you guys got up to in your cabin.
I do find on group rides that I ride faster but not out of my comfort zone. If I rode like that all the time I doubt I wouldn't have a licence anymore.
The pace at which Ewok left Bermy has me wondering if he owed half the town money. Unfortunately I was still struggling with clogged injectors from my dodgy fuel experience and simply didn't have the drive out of corners to keep up. I did notice that Bhoffo passed me on the outside of a corner exit at about 40kms faster than me, and I wasn't hanging around either.
I had a great time on that ride. We must do another very soon. In fact, I will put up a post soon if the other overnight ride being discussed doesn't eventuate soon.

It was a great ride... ended far too soon! As for passing you Ewok... I was just cleaning my injectors! (and letting the ponies have their head!)
