My uneducated guess would be in the high eights to nine for a standard model. Not sure if one with mods would be worth more or less. Bike shops are doing some great deals on 2011 models. That is the thing you are up against.

A mate of mine is struggling to get $8600 for his. '08 1250A also never in rain, no damage, full year of rego, Ventura rack and bag, Barkbuster Storms, GPS and only 4200ks.

I think we must resign ourselves to the fact that we have bought a "budget built" motorcycle that is a very very good machine, But. Non the less it is like any other low cost, mass produced article. It will not hold its value. Sad but true. If you want resale value, buy a BM or a Duc. If you want bang for your buck, buy a Bandit.

Looking around , the general consensus in SA seems to be 8.000 to 8400 but I suppose it depends how fast you want to sell it
