Smoke on the Water
A nice spot here on the Island, ( Delpura Beach boat ramp ). Thought it might make for a good back drop.

Hammy, hope you do not mind but I was bored and had five minutes.... so stripped some colour out to give you a bit more drama.

I can't see any more - I've been blinded by all the chrome and stainless steel! Nice pic by the way.
Clearly my beast needs a really good wash.

Re: Smoke on the Water
Thanks SB. Yes its a tough life here on the "Rock". Only if you weaken. People have debated for years over the idea of building bridges to link the islands to the mainland. Like Bribie. I'm pretty positive that I will never see it, and I am glade. We would be like goldfish in a bowl if that ever happened.

Thanks Ross , and no, I did'nt polish the fins. I think the $s I spent on the ceramic coating on the headers was well worth it. Cheers.

Re: Smoke on the Water
Yes. The '06 comes like this. It is very simple to do it yourself though. Just a fineish flate file. Take the edge off to reveal the bright alloy. You cant go wrong , cause you can always respray them with some satin engine black.

Ooh, something for me to aspire (I think it's the right word) to with my bike. That looks really good Hammy. Did you polish the outer edges of your rims? or is that rim tape?

I knew a mate who bought land on Russell Is on the promise that the government were going to build a bridge .... still no bridge I believe.

Re: Smoke on the Water
A few years ago poeple got "burnt", when they bought land on Russell Island off the internet. Turned out the land was useless swampland and can never be built on. I think the con artist is living somewhere in South America. And yes, plenty of fresh seafood about. Especially prawns, when the season comes.

Re: Smoke on the Water
Great place. I haven't been there for years. My brother lived on Coochie Mudlo Island for nearly 20 years. I spent a lot of time on the bay when I lived up that way.
