Hi from Davy Crockett
Hi Everyone,
Recently bought a 2008 Bandit GSF1250S. It has Givi hard panniers already fitted but no top box. I am interested in a Ventura rear bag and frame but I'm not sure if it is compatible with the Givi hard panniers. Will they both fit on? Has anyone had any experience with this please?
Secondly I wonder if anyone has a second hand bag and frame support in good condition they might like to sell?
Thanks, Davy.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
First of all I don't have a racoon hat. Foxtail hat is more appropriate in Australia. Used to shoot them for a living back in the 70s.
As for the Ventura pack I like them because if you have a pillion you can face the pack backwards but if riding solo you can face it forward to sit on the pillion seat. So really I'm just wondering if riding solo with a Givi top box it would create much wind turbulence as I sometimes get a bit of turbulence between myself and my pillion passenger if she sits back a bit?
Kind Regards, DavyC.

Givi Panniers and Top Box
Thanks Al. Nice Set up you have there. The frame I have for the side Panniers does not seem to include anything to attach the top box so I'm wondering if you need a separate frame when you put the top box as well as panniers on? Or do they just attach an extra onto the bolts holes on the Grab rail?

Tommo - smash the buggers with me foot every time I get off..pain in the arse ....interesting anatomy you must have, when yer arse is on yer foot.....hmmm....
davycrocket - the topbox requires a separate mount that fits from the pillion peg brackets up to the mounting plate.
readily available in the market or ebay
