Metzler roadtec Z8s Empty Metzler roadtec Z8s

Thought I would give a brief report on the Z8s I fitted a while back, they have done 3000 ks and show no sign whatsoever of any wear, where as the originals were all over at 3000, they warm up quick stick like shit to a blanket and are very confidence inspiring, and I cane the crap out of the bike so the tyres are getting a continual hard time, and always on the edge,I am very impressed so far , I recon they will see 10,000 easy, so any of you guys need a set of good tyres give the Z8s a try you won't regret it I didn't. Oh and they were $456 supplied and fitted.

I've found pretty much the same thing. Had the Z6's and now Z8's. Anything is better than the stock POS, especially when it gets damp/wet.

I couldn't agree more. The Z8s were a big jump up from the PR2s that I had on before. Great in the wet. The PR3s have had a great rap and may well be the same as the Z8s, but I'll be sticking with the Metzlers from now on.

I have a Z8 on the front now. What a difference compared to the M3 that came with the bike. Sticks like glue in the wet. Yet I do not push the front hard in the wet. Warms up real quick from cold. When the Z4 on the back wears out I have a Z8 for that too.

While Metzlers are getting a rap here, I can't complain about the Sportec M5 Interact i've got on the front. Will definately get one on the back when needed.
