Handle bars .

Can some one sort this out for me .
Renthal bars to suit the Bandit have to be 7\8 th thick other wise you have to change the risers to accept thicker bars .
The 7\8 " bars i have seen in the local shops all have a cross bar ,the ulta lows Whitey has (had) have no cross bar .Are they 7\8"th thick .?
The bars i looked at today have a 971 bend with a cross bar , can i take the bar off safely .
How does the "Carmichael" 971 bend compair to ulta lows .

I'm still waiting for my twin headlights from U.K (5 weeks ) and carnt be bothered waiting again for ulta lows .
Ive tried to compair the Carmichael 971 bend to ulta lows but am going around in circles .And computer is on a go slow .

You'll be fine without the crossbar. It is more as added strength for dirtbikes that may be dropped to stop bending

Hey Gus, mine were (are) the 7/8 bars and came without the cross bar. I dont think theres a problem taking the bar of anyway besides the mark it'll probably leave
