Bagster universal tank bag attachment
Heard a scrapping sound from the rear end. Pulled over. Hmmmm. Next to no rear brake pads. So bought and fitted EBC.
Fitted a Bagster universal tank bag attachment which came with medium and large tank bags that I bought off a mate. Dirt cheap price for hardly used kit. The large one (dark gray bag) expands upwards to be lot bigger.

Looks good... .I'd still be mindful of grit making its way under those retaining straps though... particularly if you're travelling through rain and having the road spray washed up onto you... (yes I've had a few reds tonight...)

Am thinking of putting some of that mesh foamy stuff that Oxford sells under the base straps too.

You can get it in the form of place mats from those cheap shops (aka Go-Lo or similar) just cut it to the desired shape and use double sided tape to hold it in place on your straps..

Bought one of those gripping foam place mates from Go-Lo today. Hopefully this will protect the paint on the tank.

Its either that or duct tape / not much else you can do (except a tank cover ). I stitched cloth to the back of one once but you still had to be careful not to pick any shit up on the cloth .

At the end of the day the bike is my main form of transport. So it will get messy as time/riding goes by.
