DONT CLEAN IT

Going on the toy run and decided to clean the bike. Then i got serious went up the street got 3 kinds of polish.

Got right into it, even polished under the headers. Couple of mates dropped by and we all admired the better than new condition!

Then I went to move it back into the carport and that's when I lost my balance and f....g dropped it!

Not much damage punched the front indicator into the fairing , easily fixed but Ive scratch paint on one of the covers.

Owell shit happens especially to clean shiny stuff!

fraid so! final count for the day was 1 scratched water pump cover, 1 handel bar end scratched, and 1 Beowulf can fitting scratched, 1 mirror scratched. not too bad realy! could of bin worse.

If it is any consolation, I dropped my bike the day I picked it up from the dealership - on a quiet country road, covered in crusher dust at 0kph, after I had decided to turn around because of the roadworks.

Its a bugger but it sounds like damage is not too bad, although any damage is heartbreaking especially on a new bike.

Hope it goes well getting it all sorted.

hey sounds not too bad to me, at least your radiator end didnt land on a bit of kerb like mine did- fu*ked the radiator up

yes with ya there brother sufferer i had a high speed off in the garage after a wash, but sadly i decided to try and save it by throwing my ankle in the way to cushion the blow

I admire your dedication Jim. To me, bikes are easier to fix than legs.

Like i said could have bin worse! cheers guys! i don't know how many people have told me similar tales since i dropped it!LOL
