Ride for GLB Hospital. 26-11-11
A ride to donate money for Goulburn Hospital has been organised for Saturday, 26th November. The ride starts out from the Goulburn jail,(Don't worry, I'm sure it"s not an organised jail break ) at 8am for a BBQ breakfast. Leave at 9am, then on to Windellema, Tarago, Bungendore, Sutton, Murembateman, Gunning, Crookwell and back to Goulburn. Entertainment is provided at the Gordon Hotel, around the corner from the jail, at the end of the ride. It looks to me, as a local to the area, as a top ride. You will see some Wind Turbines (like em or hate em) as well as some of the best country the Southern Tablelands has to offer. I have paid the $30 donation ( including breaky and entertainment) at Chris Weekes Motorcycles in Goulburn. It's sure to be a great day, which I hope to see at least 1 or 2 other Bandits to represent, only 1 of the great bikes on the road. If you happen to make it, Andrew is the name and I'll be on the black 05 model 1200. Say G'day, mention this post and I'll shout you a coffee or a beer. (Shit, I hope there is only me on a black Bandit).
Hope this isn't too late notice. Just note that Goulburn is really only a quick 1 1/2 hours from Sydney CBD, 45 from Canberra or a cheap place to stay at any number of motels/ hotels or pubs in the area. Taralga is a good stay, (Taralga Hotel's meals are second to none) if you might come, or go, via The Tablelands Way. A sweet run, to, or from Oberon. One of the best stretches of new road going. As I can attest, and note, from the many, many bikes travelling past my house on any given weekend.
Hope to see you there.

Went really well. Had an awsome ride. Rain was gone by about the start time. Roads were still a little wet for the first leg, but the sun was out and the day was perfect from then on. Will post something more soon. Wife just called dinner. Don't want to push it.

Sounds good, Grover. I'm interested in seeing some good rides around the Canberra region, also. Would be good to catch up.
