Welcome Shaun, pleased to see another Novocastrian.
Disappointed it's not the B1200 Mk2 I carded at Cardiff yesterday.

Hi & welcome.
BTW what are your thoughts on the performance (handling, power delivery etc) the old v new bike, have you found a marked improvement?

Hi pops. The biggest improvement is the smoothness of the engine I think the power is very similar. The frame is a lot stiffer you notice with change of direction. Having the fuel injection is great when winter arrives. Wouldn't go back to the old bandit even though it had so much character.

The maximum torque comes in a lot earlier as well so when overtaking the power is instantly there ( quite addictive it pulls like a 14 year old ) not that there is anything wrong with the 1200 motor but from memory the 1200 is at about 6500 rpm & the 1250 is at 3500-4000 rpm .
