Ok.. I must admit, the headlight and mirrors are thanks to Mr Honda.

Nice one Mitch right down my alley .Now if i could turn that oil cooler into a water cooler my problem would be fixed .

But if the oil cooler was a water cooler, we wouldn't have those lovely looking fins there eh? Besides bein nuded up.. Anyone know/suggest any good suspension tuners around Bris-Vegas? I think she's overdue for a bit of an overhaul. Gettin a bit soft :p

Gympie eh? You'd be familiar with the Obi-Obi Road through to Kenilworth, and the roads around the Sunny Coast Hinterland then I'd reckon? Went out for a lap last monday out there. Out Kilcoy, Maleny, etc. Back through Gympie n Kilkivan. Was a bloody good run. Are they looking to seal the Obi-Obi Range?

Suzuki parts definately make life easier.. Now if only I can find a decent headlight off a GSX1400..

Obi Obi won't be sealed going down because of the base footing is not good (so i was told ).I kind of like it dirt turns a lot of people off and understandable at times .
If its sealed both ways it will be race ,crash central . Then we will get speed bumps to slow us down going up .

Have heard good things about ' Suspension Improvements ", Sringwood 3208 0082. Have had personal dealings with ' ProMecha " in Melbourne. They are really good. I posted down front and rear shocks by Aus' Post. Wasn't very expensive. Give them a call on 03 9574 1164. Best o luck.

I would like mirrors mounted to the brake and clutch block but can't find the fitting for the "N" for these.

I could never understand why we didn't get the 2nd gen bandits as naked bikes too. I always wanted one but had to wait for the non-pink 1250 instead.

Mate, you'll find that all you need to mount the mirrors on the clutch and brake blocks are the clamps from the likes of the naked SV 1000 and 650 'N' models. They are actually the same part number as the 'N' Bandit. Being that I am a bit fussy, I ordered my parts new from my local bike shop. But otherwise any wrecking yard should be able to produce the goods pretty quick. You'll notice that the little half clamp piece on the 'S' model is a rounded profile all round the outside, where the 'N' type brackets have a bit of extra casting for mirror threads. The mirrors are from a 900 Hornet, and fit up no worries at all

I found a few extra parts for all of the finishing touches on a trip to America. Makes life easier if you can look at the factory naked bike in front of you

I actually still have my list of genuine part numbers if you'd like?

Cheers for that Mitch. I shall hunt some SV ones down from a wreckers.

Ordered the mirror holders new as they are only $14 each. A wreckers said they would not sell them without the master cylinders and it would be cheaper to get new ones.

Now to find some sexy mirrors. Can't decide between ones with LED indicators built in or not.
