Woven nylon mesh .
Ordered 3m of this mesh with the idea to cover the large radiator hoses .They look to me ,especially with those hose clamp.
At $15 for 3mtrs got to be worth a try .See on one site they have Motorcycle kits , small sizes (and colours )perfect for me .

Looks great, reminds me of a nature doco where the snake swallows a rodent whole.

Thought the stainless looking stuff might make the hoses stand out even more .This stuff was $5 to do all the large hoses.

Thats the beauty of the FA its all hidden with a few areas to see in. For me its more about knowing that I have made things nicer looking just like the job you did with the woven covering which looks awesome by the way....
I used a similar product a few years ago on an old 4X4 i had as i was feed up blowing hoses all the time.

Re: Woven nylon mesh .
Bike makers must hate nakeds. Look at a undressed sports bike ,it aint pretty .I have trouble with the Speed Triple ,all those hoses and bit
look thrown on ,engine finish isnt great either .Blinkers stuck on rad . ends looks like asking for trouble . I know i'm harsh .Like the finish on some
Yamaha cruisers , harsh , or in 6 months, rusty . My old boss brought a new one .I kept an eye on how it lasted ,not well.
