What can a B1200 / B1250 take?
How much weight can a Bandit take as a pillion passenger?
I weigh 95kg on a good day my pillion would weigh 85kg. Is this too heavy? Shhhhh..... here she comes...

AS long as you adjust the preload i would think a fair bit more than that .

BTW, I'm 6ft 4ins tall so I carry 95kg quite okay. The pillion is 6ft tall also.

I was 160kg when I purchased the Bandit.
It still did very well, but not as good as it does now that I've lost a fair chunk!

As a bit of a side thing I found this interesting pic while trying to find carrying capacity for the B1250.

Max load according to the tyre is 365kg at 42 PSI which is the recommended inflation pressure according to the placard. So I reckon that's the benchmark.

Why did you start this subject. As soon as Potatomasher logs on we will be flooded with pics we all would rather not see.

Hmmm, don't mind the white and black color scheme - might have to rethink the shark's teeth idea.

Re: What can a B1200 / B1250 take?
I weigh about 105kg and my son (regular pillion) weighs about 60kg. The B12 handles this fairly well, with the preload max'd, but you do have to be careful on left handers, I've scrapped the centre stand a couple of times, mind you I was pushing pretty hard, maybe too hard with a pillion on. But I have 3 very good excuses. 1. I couldn't let my wife on her M750 beat me to Tumba from Jingellic. 2. I forgot the pillion was there. 3. At the stop before this section my pillion said "Dad, you're a pussy, go faster" so I did.

Found the specification - its total mass fully loaded shouldn't exceed 470kg approx.
It's in the manual but not in the back.
