Nice.
I'm dying to see if those radiator ends fit the earlier bikes.
Like the black pillion mounts too.
No comment on the 44 gallon drum hanging off the RH side

Re: grumpys bike
jeez, mine clearly needs a scub - can't believe how clean and shiny that thing is.
But I'll leave the panniers to you - they look a bit too much like they belong to someone delivering mailouts !.
Enjoy.

I have seen them painted mat black. I think I like the shape of the GSX ones.
Grump, what paint did you use on the pillion brackets?

Re: grumpys bike
thank you one and all......posted this in responce to Gus wanting photos...took photos 2 weeks ago then computer chucked a wobbley ....I know they are in the wrong section but had a few problems..actually a large domestic !! SWMBO swore at me and stormed off to bed......would not talk to me this morning but was by lunch time when she said "pass the salt" so all ok.. answers to questions 1) yes..sorry its dirty..had done 80k at that stage..2) was considering Gus's carbon paint......wait and see..3) white lettering = wet day..4) Gearsack goes over seat..100mph tape over paint..remove sticky stuff with orange oil...5) red stripes = fast.. 6) screen is MRA $130 ??.. 7) pillion brackets = standard.. ...........................Grumpy

Re: grumpys bike
Thats a lot of paint. I'm not sure how it will last. I'm sure i could scratch it off with my fingernail if i wanted because there is not much bond to the stainless steel. Personally i think it would be
more trouble than its worth on such a big can .At least if you didnt like it no harm done just take it off. I used VHT high temp wrinkle plus .
$18 a can unless you live in the states (USA )where it is $9 .

Re: grumpys bike
Was told Monday now. Not
I will put them on for a bit, however I am buying them to make a carbon mould. They'd look better in CF. I am about to start playing with making my own carbon parts, Just small stuff.

Re: grumpys bike
That sounds interesting. I glassed some c\f over the anodized covers but it wouldnt bond to it.Never progressed any further with it.
When i left they were playing around with" Sun Cure Epoxy" .Plenty of time to lay it up then just take it out side.
Benefit being no waist .
