When dissapointment is a blessing Empty When dissapointment is a blessing

While I initially was disappointed with having to attend a 2 day conference instead of joining the Barry Sheene ride again and riding to PI I am now relieved due to the shitfull weather the poor sods have endured since Wed night. At the moment its actually flogging down and brothers (& sisters) still making their way to PI are parked up under any shelter they can find here in Sale.
Riding in this weather is ok if you're caught in it. Camping in this weather......No thanks! Parking on grass in this weather. That's a challenge.

Good luck and safe travels to those choosing to continue on. Shocked

While it doesn't have the same atmosphere of the island my lounge room is warm, dry, comfortable and the food is cheap.

I've booked the TV from 1pm on Saturday and again from 12:30 on Sunday. I'm just glad my wife likes watching bikes go round in circles as well.

Nice shout, although riding in the rain is not all that bad, givin' a choice, I rather wouldn't. I will be watching the race this year on the telly, going for Chris Vermeulen. I saw him race last year in Rimini at the San Marino GP and am disappointed Suzuki haven't kept him for 2010. Shocked .
