CASTROL SIX HOUR BOOK
Am reading Jim Scaysbrook's book "The Castrol Six Hour Production Race" which covers the history of the race from 1970 through to 1987. I'm loving it and thoroughly recommend it to anyone of the ilk that followed it during those years. I actually attended a few races in the early 80's but haven't found my piccie in the pages as yet! It may hold less appeal if you never followed the series but it's still a good read.
Not cheap at $60 plus postage but worthwhile nonetheless IMHO.

We loved watching it on TV. After that we would go for a ride .Someone would say "no racing now" it would last about 30 seconds
and then all hell broke loose.

Re: CASTROL SIX HOUR BOOK
I watched it religiously from 1975 - 1980 on the box then went trackside for the next 2 years.
Do you remember what bike you had then? Mine was an old CB350Four. I had bought it second hand but can't remember where from
