new member from Canada
Hello all, I am coming from BC, Canada ,Vancouver Island
I have been riding for over 50 years , with too many bikes to list over the years
I have owned lots of GS series starting in 78 with a 550E
I have rebuilt several bike incluing a 78 GS1000E with a big bore kit, 78 XS1100 big bore kit( crazy torque), 81 CBX full frame off
I just picked up a 2012 GSX1250 fa for $5000 cdn with 58,0000 k
Yosi exhaust with a reflashed ECU, 108 hp on the dyno, way enough horse power
Last bike was a 2006 ST1300 honda 220,000 k before throwing it off a cliff without me .........bear
I also currently own a 2018 Vstrom 1000 xt but am selling it due to it height even with a lowering kit from Lusk racing in the UK
I have a new brake line(Hel) and bar risers on the way for the 1250
Looking for a after market touring fairing , Zero gravity seems like my best choice
glad to be here
thanks R6

Hi six-pack,
Welcome, plenty of info here.

Welcome Sixpac.
I spent a little time at 3PPCLI in Victoria way back in 1977 when we did an exchange between the Canadian and Australian Army's .
Beautiful place you live in. Used to love travelling on the ferry to Vancouver.
Good luck with your 1250, hope you find a fairing you like, I went with the standard Suzuki but had to modify it slightly with my Arrow headers as the right pipe was a little too close to the fairing.
