Tom from the USA
Hello from the USA, I was delighted to find your forum. There isn't any active Bandit forums here. I am an older rider, 74 years young and was introduced to the Bandit by my brother who sold me his 2002 1200. I liked that Bandit so much I bought another, a 2008 because I thought the Bandit would be better with another top gear.
I was right, I like the 6 speed better. I came across your forum while trying to find out how to raise the 2008 seat height. I look forward to contributing to the forum.

Welcome aboard mate. We’ve had a few from the US over the years.

Welcome Tom,
good move getting a 1250. Did you keep the 1200? I have both and love their differences. I wish my old GS 1000G had been a six speed as being a shaftie you couldn't gear it up like a Chain drive. Doh.
