Front fork tube replacement Empty Front fork tube replacement

Post  stevemcc Wed 17 Feb 2021, 9:33 pm

Has anyone replaced the front fork tubes. Mine have rust spots appeared and this has in turn torn the seals. Noticed some oil leaked over the front wheel and onto the garage floor. (The rust comes from living in the tropics and not riding the bike enough... and neglecting to protect the bike well enough. The bike lived downstairs Under the house but still was damp enough to cause corrosion over the bike).
I think the rust spots are too deep now so guess I need to replace the tubes. So seeking any advice tips etc.

Thanks
Steve

My brother in-law just had some re-done by Radhard for hi CB750, excellent work and was around $300.
