Where is the clutch bleed nipple?
Hi guys
Can anyone tell me where to find the clutch bleed nipple on the 1250 S? I bled the brakes and I've got enough fluid left over to do the clutch but I can't see where the nipple is.
BTW, while I don't have much mechanical knowledge, You Tube is great; you can find a "how to" video for anything from boiling an egg to splitting the atom.
Regards

The nipple is under the side cover on the left hand side of your bike ( the one that covers your front sprocket .)

Geez, I would never have looked there. Have to try and remember that if I ever need to bleed my clutch fluid.

I'm serious. I've always bled the clutch up the top, don't I? Well actually, I've never done the Bandit, I've always had the mechanic do it for me these past 15 or so years which probably explains why my mechanical ability is where it's at.Chook wrote:My sarcasm meter just bent it's needletruck wrote:Geez, I would never have looked there. For all of you mechanical gurus who have master the brake and clutch, your next challenge is changing the blinker fluid

There was a web site called KaleCoAuto which had this plus a range of similar products. I can't find it at present

No worries, I thought it read as very sarcastic.truck wrote:I'm serious. I've always bled the clutch up the top, don't I? I've often bled clutches by just small movements of the pedal/lever, just starting the travel, not a full stroke, more often than not it will work but it doesn't push the fluid right through getting rid of impurities etc
