Swap GSX1250FA for GSXR1100 86-90 model?

Hi all, 

Its probably a long shot but I am thinking of buying a GSXR1100 86-90 model.  I like the slab sided ones and used to own a black and gold one back in the day that I wished I had kept. But he 90 L model has the 180 rear tyre and upside down forks so that could be good too.



If anyone has a GSXR1100 86-90 model on the site that they would consider swapping for my bike please let me know. Thanks again for all your help, the forum has a wealth of information and comments.

Thanks GSX1100G. Yeah saw that one. There is actually 2 black and golds but they are both in Western Australia. For these older bikes I would like to see first hand. Also shipping the bike from Perth to Sydney adds another 1000 or abouts to the price. Would prefer to swap my bike for Gixxer or sell it first and then buy. Hoping for a Gixxer within a days ride from Sydney.

In the current economic state, I reckon $7500 -$7800 would probably seal the deal. W A is a good place for a holiday . I'd want to see /touch it too.

I have always loved the gsxr1000/1100's, never owned one though   But there is a guy around the corner from me that has one in his garage that he doesn't ride.........maybe one day it'll be out the front of his place "for sell" 

They really make no sense . Strangest ride position ever ,and not in a good way . Motor doesn't work as it should till 140 kph . when you can then use top gear . Motor is noisy by todays standards , suspension is out dated . TERRIBLE in any form of traffic .  Nice to look at though .
Mine went to Sydney . I actually enjoyed my tl1000s's and tl1000r much more .
