Black Widow headers
Has anyone bought these suckers? They look similar to my Arrows but a shit ton cheaper
Coin flip between Delkevik and these suckers.
Around $370 landed

Yep, bought these for our son. Very nice build quality, (better joins between the pipes than delkevic, have them as well) as near as I can tell they are an Arrow knockoff.
No problem in recommending them

Re: Black Widow headers
Thanks for the reply, I went ahead and bought them
They cost $385au compared to the $720 I paid for Arrow pipes for my 1250.
I did have Delkevik in my sights but have read too much bad feedback about welds and construction. The Arrow's I have on my 1250 have been finished very nicely, if the Black Widow's are near as good for the price I'll be stoked

Re: Black Widow headers
Pipes turned up today, reasonably quick postage and no issues.
The pipes are packed in Black Widows own box which is quite sturdy, and the pipes themselves are extremely well packaged. Welds also look very good, hopefully the pipes fit as well as they look
The only thing I don't like is that the flange looks like it may be a chromed steel item, if it is I might look at other options.
Overall, seems like good value at $385au

Re: Black Widow headers
Sorry Gus no
In hindsight I should have ordered one from these guys, but for the moment I'll suck up the factory guy.
If I do decide to get a BW one I'll let you know

Turns I may have a Black Widow one coming . If you lived next door we could just swap over. If you wanted to pay postage for both we still could ,$40 ??

You pay postage of mine to you, and yours to me . All I need is a link pipe ,I don't care which one . Postage all up $40 -$45 at a guess

Re: Black Widow headers
When yours turns up Gus check it out and decide what you want to do then.
I don't want you to commit to something that you haven't seen yet, it might be sexy as hell and you can't part with it
If you were to look at a trade I would only consider something that didn't leave you out of pocket

Re: Black Widow headers
Fitted the headers today
These things are finished very nicely and were a snack to fit with no dramas whatsoever In these times of a lot of shit repro parts, it's refreshing to buy something that fits and works out of the box
I realise that some guys(myself included) like the high end gear like Yoshi and Akra, but for a "run of the mill" cruiser you'd be hard pressed to find a better value header pipe that is finished as well as these are for the coin.
PS:Speaking of shit repro parts, M.C.S turn signals..........don't waste a penny on their junk

Re: Black Widow headers
Look good but i'm worried what colour they MAY turn after heat is applied . The old chrome type would turn blue the first ride and brown the second one .
Mine you i'm going back a long time
