I learnt to ride on a Bridgestone 90 on a sheep and cattle station just a bit more than 50 years ago. At 16years 9 months I got my learners permit on my Z1B 900, which was a relief at the time as I had already clocked up a few thousand k's...

I've had bikes all my life, but like most of us, getting married young, a kid, and a house sort of got in the way of having anything special for a few years.

I've recently acquired a GSF1200 K5(?). First 4 cylinder I've owned since 1986 (?). I'll have to admit it feels a bit strange after 30 years of Italian twins and triples, but it seems easy enough to ride...

I don't think it is as quick as my 999, but it is certainly a lot more comfortable...

I'm currently living in the Ipswich area.
