I just noticed....
That I haven't introduced myself after several years of being a member... how rude of me !
I have a 2012 GSX 1250 FA that I bought about 2 years ago in SA from a dealer and had it shipped over ( I live in Victoria and the bike was far cheaper there than here!), since then, I've had the suspension rebuilt by pro Mecha here in melbourne front and rear just after I bought it which frankly transformed the bikes ride and handling ( just fitted a Nitron R1 rear shock to the bike today and I'm waiting on riding it tomorrow to see how it goes).
I ride around 25 to 30,000 klm's a year, all country with my usual haunts being the Great Ocean road and Eildon Jamison road with the odd ride up to bright and surrounds. Sergant Seat makes all the difference to comfort and I was lucky enough to buy one here on the forums from someone local to me for a very reasonable price. 58 years old and my Son started riding a about 2 years ago so a few months back I went out and bought him a Kawasaki ER6-NL that was about 2 years old to replace his GT650R Hyosung that he'd had for a year since getting his learners.
Tyre pressure monitoring system fitted, Givi case at the rear for traveling and a Xscreen screen "add on" to deflect soem of that turbulence away from my helmet to keep the noise down. I've been riding since 1989.

It’s never too late to say g’day.
How long did promeca have your bike for? I need to pay them a visit over winter.
