I have that adjustable screen bracket. Its good but its better when you add the seemingly oversize screen with it.
I don't encounter buffeting at all really.

Yes I have Chook, useless as well.Chook wrote:Jimmy the Boy wrote:Gday Everyone , Attention Peter, Dave and Ironman, What have you blokes done about the buffering on your DL'S?? Peter I've tried playing with the mirrors, in fact I actually removed them altogether but to no avail . I've put the screen in all positions and used longer bolts to tilt it back on a more acute angle but not enough I guess?. Does anyone have, ( or tried ) the Madstad adjustable bracket? I think that's my next option but I'd like to rack your collective brains first. Cheers and Thankyou in advance, a wind blown JTB
Have you tried the other screen that came with it?

I've spent far too long looking at the Stromtroopers Forum . Everyone has a different solution. I'm getting severe buffering from 80kmh onwards so it's a real pain. I think I'll just order the adjustable bracket and see how that goes. Thanks Guys.

Re: It's Aliiiiive!!!
I'll throw in an odd one. When the Bandit and my relationship was young I thought adding a larger screen would help and bought a Givi which was somewhat longer. When fitted it made the buffetting around my helmet much worse so I reverted to the original, which meant most of the air hit my chest, not my head. I've stuck with it ever since.
Perhaps fit a lower screen!
