Anyone old enough
To remember these .
The dust seals and fork seals have in them a .... 0...... SPRING to keep dust out and oil in .They can be removed .
They look like they are one piece . If you look real close there is a join that is screwed together .The spring really is like this -----------------------
There is a male end and a female end . If you forgot to get new dust seals ,you can make the spring smaller buy cutting off a couple of mm ,increasing the seal pressure .,
Or another trick
Remove bar end weights and fill the ends of the bars with silicon . Then fit light alloy bar ends . The silicon absorbs the vibes and stops heat loss with heated grips .
