As some of you may be facebook "friends" with Beowulf you would have seen they were calling for pix and video's of their products to be submitted. All good and fair enough but I posted a whing about paying the VAT as I have done on this forum more than once Wink

Well bugger me I get a FB message today from them asking for a PayPal account so they can refund me the VAT Very Happy "We have looked into it and for some reason you were charged VAT blah blah blah…………………."

I've sent back the email address and I'll see if anything turns up. I'll let you know

I still wonder why my pre purchase emails regarding VAT were ignored.

Hey Baz,

I've just ordered an oil cooler guard for my bike from Robert at Ozzimoto. I ordered it in the same colour as the bike and it set me back $102.50 including delivery. There's a picture of a bike the same make and colour as mine on his website with the guard installed and it looks good.

Don’t you love a story with a happy ending?
I checked my PayPal account this morning and there was £26 sitting there from Beowulf. Very Happy
Not sure what the conversion rate is and I'm wondering what I can buy with that because the finance controller doesn’t know about this windfall Laughing Twisted Evil

Suggestions please Cool

You could buy a few cans of Oort grey spray paint and donate them to a less fortunate purple bike owner , whom shall remain nameless. Very Happy

Ok, Black then, although it's not confirmed, but I don't think that'll be as fast as Oort. Smile

Btw, this helps in no way at all. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oort_cloud

Soooo.. apparently it is a cloud of comets. Everyone asleep yet.

its 'Oort Gray'

and the Oort Cloud does contain comets

so the Oort Gray bikes speed is comparable to the speed of a comet ... in other words .. Fastest
