The Burgmann

After assisting a work colleague buy the bike she wanted.  A 2004 Suzuki Burgmann 650 and organising it to be freighted up to Eden i picked it up this evening and rode it home.

What a cracker of a bike plenty of go, plenty of storage under seat sort of like the Tardis. I rock up at the depot after work with my gear in hand, there it is ! Geezus its a big sucker for a scooter
so after 5 minutes of trying to get the key in the ignition ( not bringing my glasses was a big help) ok back of the key in the first hole then turn that opens the ignition cover hey hey in goes the key. Houston we have ignition ok how do move forward kick up the kick stand check all the warning lights whats this green light do, once again no glasses helps alot, bugger it its green so it must be ok go to move forward no go twist the throttle still no go mmmmm park brake where the fuck is it another couple of minutes and whats this lever do click and i roll forward. Hey hey i have forward motion twist the throttle and off i go, cruise along the main rd out of Eden no problem.

Checking out the dash lay out it has these up/down buttons on the left must be for the screen nope that doesn't work whats this D&M do,  press that hey its manual gears mode with the up/down but its not the same as the changing gears with ya foot but it does give you choice.

on the way out of Eden i give it a good squirt impressing not you arm ripping torque of the bandit but hey 135 over bell bird hill ( very steep hill just out of Eden)  in auto mode with out dying of a asthma attack cannot be all bad. I reckon a good all round service would do it a world of good.

any it was the most fun i have had in a long time and would i buy one, shit yeah but i only just have to fiqure out why once i do that look out mitta mitta with the missus and a topbox 

PS the old bugger handed the bloody number plate in and when i got home i near shit myself lucky that there was no cops around.

Paul Paul Paul you put a Yoshi pipe on it easy peasy then it has a note and a bit more go

I meant the  airing vagina not the Burgman 

The Burgman has a place in motorcycling & quite a handy one  at that if that's the type of bike you need / want .
(around 50 HP isn't too bad either )
